Nitai recently completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of Toronto. Originally from Montreal, Nitai received his B.A. (Double Major History and Political Science) at McGill University. In the year between undergrad and Law School, Nitai worked at the Juno Beach Museum in Normandy, France. Nitai has been involved in high level sports since a young age. He has captained Team Canada Men’s Foil Fencing internationally and has captained McGill and University of Toronto Rugby. Nitai has also played rugby at the National II level in France. Nitai has performed in musical theatre and has toured with a youth company combatting racism and anti-Semitism at schools across North America.
At the University of Toronto, Nitai was involved with Pro-Bono Students of Canada and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Nitai was a member of the Student Law Society and worked as a researcher for EGALE Canada. Nitai also captained the University of Toronto Law Games team and was the host of the annual Law Follies production. His interests at school included Corporate Law, Securities, Real Estate and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Before joining Gardiner Roberts, Nitai worked in the Legal and Business Development office at a major film production company.
Nitai is an avid traveller, lover of all sports and a music enthusiast.
