Prior to joining Gardiner Roberts LLP Jamal articled and practiced at a prominent litigation boutique where he advised corporate and private clients on complex commercial, insurance, and privacy matters.
Jamal also takes an interest in legal research and writing whose works have been published in a number of publications, including the Toronto Law Journal and Mondaq Canada Publications.
Jamal graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law in 2019. During law school, Jamal was competitively selected as a Teaching Assistant for the Faculty’s Dispute Resolution Practicum. He was awarded the Rick Weiler Prize for Effective Lawyer-Client Relations and Teamwork in Mediation. Jamal also holds an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario.
In his spare time, Jamal is an avid Toronto sports fan, enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops in the city, and listening to Charles Bradley records.
