Eli is in his second year of the JD program at the University of Toronto. He has a Bachelor of Commerce with a Marketing specialization and a Minor in History from the University of British Columbia.
As Pro Bono Students Canada’s Family Law Project Coordinator, Eli has drafted affidavits, ex parte motions and applications for unrepresented litigants in both Superior Court and the Ontario Court of Justice. Prior to law school, Eli worked as tour guide in Toronto and ran his own small business.
Eli has been recognized for his oral advocacy prowess, winning the “Top Appellant Team” at the 2019 Frank W. Callaghan Memorial Moot and “Most Outstanding Moot Team” at UBC’s 2017 Undergraduate Moot Court Competition.
When not in the office, you can find Eli geocaching or exploring Toronto’s fascinating history. He is currently on the hunt to find the best Caesar (cocktail) in Canada.
Eli was a summer student at Gardiner Roberts in 2019 and will return to article for the 2020 term.
