Mikaela is currently enrolled in the Juris Doctor program at Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. She previously studied Criminology at Western University, earning her BA with distinction before beginning law school. Mikaela was elected president of one of the largest student-run clubs on campus called the Western Pre-Law Society during her time at Western.
During her first year of law school, Mikaela was elected Vice President of communications for the student government of her school. In this capacity, she worked with a team to deliver comprehensive programming to law students. During the summer after her first year, Mikaela worked for a full service firm as a summer student, gaining practical hands on experience.
In her spare time, Mikaela enjoys personal fitness, taking cooking classes, and downhill skiing.
