Alex Eisenberg

Alex is a transactional Partner in the Business Law Group and co-chair of the Financial Services Group, where he works with clients on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and financing matters. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions as well as secured lending.

Before joining Gardiner Roberts, Alex completed his articles and practiced as an associate at a leading national law firm, gaining experience in both the Toronto and New York offices.

• Acted for largest Canadian KFC franchisee in the purchase of certain assets from a former publicly traded company through CCAA proceedings.
• Acted for largest Canadian KFC franchisee as borrower, in connection with senior secured operating, term and capital expenditure facilities provided by a Schedule I Bank including various amendments and increases to credit facilities.
• Acted on behalf of various Schedule I banks.
• Acted on behalf of various shareholders in connection with the sale of their businesses.
