Executive Summary
Zev Zlotnick is Co-Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department and Co-Chair of its Financial Services Group. He is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Compensation Committee.
Zev advises owners, developers, lenders, landlords, property and asset managers, and tenants in connection with multi-residential, seniors living, commercial, and retail properties, with a focus on acquisitions and dispositions, sophisticated leasing matters, and the structuring and negotiation of complex real estate transactions.
He regularly acts for Tier 1 commercial mortgage lenders, Schedule I banks, lending syndicates, and corporate borrowers on primary, secondary, mezzanine, and construction real property financings. Zev is particularly an expert in CMHC-insured financing transactions, including structuring and closing CMHC-backed loan facilities.
Zev also maintains a corporate-commercial practice, advising on asset and share acquisitions, financing transactions, and corporate structuring, with experience across private and public companies, including start-ups and technology businesses.
Zev is known for providing professional, practical advice and delivering results in a timely and efficient manner.
